Voice Lessons

Welcome to the world of singing! Are you ready to be challenged, learn more about yourself and your instrument? Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or emerging artist, we are ready to nurture and guide you in your musical path.

Taking Voice Lessons at Zamek Music

Are you ready to be challenged, learn more about yourself and your instrument? Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or professional artist, we are ready to nurture and guide you in your musical path.

If you are interested in music theatre, pop, classical music, or country, Zamek Music can help you achieve your goals. Lessons are structured into three sections:

  1. Vocalizing while building and strengthening the voice.

  2. Application of these concepts to learning new repertoire.

  3. Musicianship: developing music reading skills, practicing sight-reading, and ear training.

We prepare students for local auditions, competitions, roles, NYSSMA, All-State, college entrance auditions, and any other performances that come along! Schools that Ms. Zamek's students have been accepted to include Mannes School of Music, the Frost School of Music, and Westminster Choir College.

We offer two recitals per year and often add a masterclass with another professional who can add value to your journey. We provide student families with a Dropbox folder personally tailored to each student. This contains progress reports, sheet music, articles, YouTube clips, audition notices, and more. Additionally, students are able to have most sheet music and rehearsal tracks free of charge due to Zamek Music's subscriptions to SCRIBD and the "Accompanist" app. Zamek Music also suggests classes, auditions, programs, and other opportunities to supplement your growing talent. Our studio is a place to explore what your voice can do! It is a supportive and safe environment to grow and learn.

Online Lessons

Lessons are conducted via Zoom Meetings. Parents are asked to stay in the room during online lessons.  10-15 minutes may be added to the lesson time during the first few lessons to be sure that everyone feels comfortable with the technology.  Other online events such as recitals, masterclasses and more will be held periodically.
